Mission Secure appoints industry and U.S. military veteran Bob McAleer as president of Mission Secure Defense

McAleer has a strong track record when it comes to results. Prior to Mission Secure, McAleer was COO at Military System Group in Nashville, Tennessee, which designs and manufactures weapon mounts. There he was responsible for revenue, engineering and manufacturing. During his tenure, the company entered new markets, increased revenues and employees by 300%, and revenues considerably more. He also sits on the board of directors of the Utahbased at Airborne ECS, a leading thermal management company that designs and manufactures environmental control systems for the commercial and aviation industry.

In 27 years with the U.S. Army, Bob served in key combat positions in Airborne Artillery, Stryker Infantry, and Special Operations units, including the 75e Ranger Regiment and Delta Force. He spent eleven years overseas and six in command, including command of Fires Squadron, 2sd Cavalry regiment. He served as the exercise leader; then head of future operations for US forces in Korea; Chief of Staff of the Legislative Liaison of the Army; then ended up on Capitol Hill as the head of the US Army Senate Liaison Division.

McAleer holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from American Military Academy at West Point; an MBA and a master’s degree in operations research from the Georgia Institute of Technology; and a master’s degree in national security and resource strategy of the National Defense University.
