To achieve its mission, the Department of Music offers a multitude of opportunities to study, practice and explore the musical arts. The department offers an extensive program of musical ensemble creation, large and small groups; professional, individualized (applied music), instrumental, keyboard and vocal instruction; and a comprehensive undergraduate music program, including courses leading to the Bachelor of Arts in Music with diplomas for licensure (public school teacher certification).
